Abstract

This work aims to present a distribution of open access journals used by Brazilian researchers considering the Impact Factors of journals. For this purpose, the curricula registered on the Lattes Platform are used as a data source for the analyses. Currently, the curricular data from the Lattes Platform have been the source of several studies that adopt bibliometric metrics to understand the scientific evolution in Brazil. In addition to the data from the Lattes Platform, DOAJ data are also used to validate journals that are open access. As a result, it was possible to present the distribution of the set analyzed by their Impact Factors, as well as a distribution of publications considering the areas of activity of the authors.
